ARA MEMBERS RIDE THE RAILS TO CATCH A SHOW!

On June 21, 2025, about 40 ARA members boarded the Amtrak Downeaster in Durham to attend a fabulous production of the musical Fantasia in Picard Hall at the Maine State Music Theater on the campus of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Organized by ARA’s Cultural Tours Committee and led by Vasant Dass, the Committee’s interim director until he officially begins his term on July 1, the event was an unqualified success – a perfect first day of summer for a train trip that included a delicious box lunch capped off by a rousing professional caliber performance by an energetic and talented cast. Many thanks to everyone who made this tour possible!
